lmiltchev,

Thanks for getting back to me.

I'd like to see the Windows Server Monitoring Wizard modified to maybe use CheckMEM in a future release to monitor physical memory as the default. It's not too helpful to show 44% total memory use if the total includes 97% physical RAM. The server will likely have major performance issues well before a warning threshold is reached.

For now, I've lowered the warning and critical thresholds.

To be completely honest with you, I don't think that the "Windows Server Monitoring Wizard" will be modified soon (if ever) to use "check_nrpe" + "CheckMem" instead of "check_nt" + "MEMUSE"... Our development efforts are geared toward NCPA, which is our own agent, while NSClient++ is not.

lmiltchev,

Well, I guess I fell asleep at the wheel, AGAIN! :D

NCPA was not on my radar at all. (if only I learned to read!) I'll let you know how it goes with NCPA.

I really appreciate your help.

No problem! Let us know if you get stuck on something while testing NCPA. I am locking this topic, so feel free to start a new thread if you have more questions.
