Looks like you're getting a sigsev two forks after the command file worker gets started, which is right about when iobrokers aka neb modules start to get loaded. We can do a couple things, but moving to a remote via tickets will be by far the fastest and best response. In the end we are either going to need a core dump from an unstripped core binary, which is kind of a pain on XI, or to run core in gdb and manually debug when this is happening. Couple questions that you can answer here or in a ticket.

Which version of XI were you upgrading from?
Do you have other modules such as mklivestatus or mod_gearman loading?
If you do have extra nebs outside of ndo, when was the last time you installed\recompiled\updated them?

Have you recompiled since upgrading to 2014 builds?
Can we try removing the mod_gearman module line from nagios.cfg and starting the service? What are the results of that?

I removed the line from the nagios.cfg and nagios started first time.

I only installed mod_gearman after upgrading to 2014 as I started to get ndo2db errors and Andy advised me to offload my MySQL to another server and to use mod_gearman to reduce the load on the server. I will drop you an email now

Thanks for the email, I'll pick up the ticket and we can schedule for monday. I was not saying gearman was a bad thing, just checking on install and possible issues. Locking this since we have a ticket open.
