Filters not written to configuration

sorry for not replying earlier, the issue was due to a filter not having a quote in it. verify showed no issue, the logstash config wasn't getting written when I applied and the web interface would not show my new filters after I hit apply (for the second time due to the apply button not applying the first time you press it)

the filter that had the configuration issue was still showing in the list so I had no reason to think it would be a problem and as verify was working I had even less reason to think it was a configuration issue

so if you have filters vanish after applying I'd suggest looking at the configuration of the last one in the list it probably has an issue.
