MultiTech support maintains the SF100-G model is a 2G only device. I am in an area that no longer has a 2G GSM network - at least from AT&T. AT&T is gradually shutting down their 2G networks all over the country so I would have to try T-Mobile. They are the only other carrier in my area with 2G GSM.

Interesting. I use the SF400-G here and at old job. I know they were 3G sims, but can't say for sure if they didn't step down to 2G.
