Shawn, which version of Nagios Log Server are you using? I just tested this, and though the Save icon was greyed out, I was able to click the dropdown next to it and use 'Save As' properly. I am on FireFox 36.0.4/Windows 7. I used NLS 1.3.

We are on 2015R1.3.
Of course we can save in Firefox also, but no other browsers. Since we tend to only use Firefox for troubleshooting purposes that makes this a pretty annoying bug. Many of our users use Safari or Chrome as their daily driver browser.
I just updated to Firefox 36.0.4 and while you can hit enter to save, the "Save as" and "Save as global dashboard" buttons do not appear. This was tested both on Windows and Mac versions of Firefox.

I tested this in my lab:
Firefox worked as expected ('Enter' worked to save the imported dashboard, the two save buttons were missing).
Google Chrome worked as expected ('Enter' worked to save the imported dashboard, the two save buttons were missing).
Internet Explorer did not work as expected ('Enter' did not save the imported dashboard).
I upgraded my Nagios Log Server to our latest development revision, and the bug persisted.
