I had a feeling it would be something like that.
I am thinking that perhaps Avtech RoomAlert devices are not that great. I have another one I cant even do a snmp walk on it. While dealing with support for it, the support guy actually told me... "it works on the one I have here". well that , doesn't help me at all. :roll: :roll:

You're welcome, sorry that happens to be the case. Since it seems to be rather intermittent, you could always up the retries on these checks and see if that helps with some of the notifications.

I currently have retires set at 5 min. and regular checks at 10 min.

Ouch, ya i wouldn't increase it more than that, thats already a long time between an actual failure and a notification.

You can close this item....Boss told me today that he doesn't need Nagios to notify for them anymore.
