Absolutely. if 4 days generates 1.8GB of data, a 5 week extrapolation is going to lead to some very large data sources (~16GB).

You may want to consider using "views" in order to narrow the scope of collected data to just those ip's and ports that may concern you.

Thanks for the information and support on this. We have a better understanding of Network Analyzer now and will test and plan accordingly. You are right in that it will be a lot of data collected from all devices. Storage and performance might be a concern once we have more devices sending flow data to it.

Hello,

I am also experiencing VERY sluggish web page responses (more than 2 minutes). Can you please advise how you disabled reverse DNS ?

Have you already done the proper troubleshooting to verify that the DNS lookups is indeed your problem? As mentioned earlier in the thread the poor performance could be the result of many different factors. I would start by looking in your apache access and error logs for issues as this other user did. Also this should go to a new thread, I'm going to lock this one. Please open a new thread for us to help you with this problem.
