I have found this doc, but the file /etc/httpd/conf.d/nagiosxi.conf seems a bit different:

Is this the most accurate/up to date doc to achieve ssl?

Yes, I would recommend following this document closely if you want to setup SSL with XI. It's proven to work. Let us know if run into some issues with it.

I wanted to follow up with this thread and report that following the ssl doc does allow the config to work.
However, the section of the ssl doc for permanent redirection is slightly incorrect. I had to do:
Code: Select all
Redirect permanent / https://fqdn-or-ip/
