Why are you prompted for a password when you are trying to run "reconfigure_nagios.sh" as "nagios" user? Are you using LDAP?

Also, your sudoers file looks weird - here's one from a "clean" system:

Hi lmiltchev,

When I run reconfigure_nagios.sh as root I am not getting any errors and the script is running fine. We are not using LDAP.

I am facing this issue after upgrading the Nagios XI earlier the apply configuration is working fine.

Can you run the following and post back the output?

Can you update your /etc/sudoers file from the copy of the sudoers file that lmiltchev posted earlier?

Your /etc/sudoers file is missing some required lines so if you can edit it to look like the following, that should resolve the issue.

/usr/bin/nmap * is missing in the sudoers . Is this entry not required?

The nmap entry has been replaced by the following line so it isn't needed anymore.

This gives protection from passing arbitrary args to nmap.

Hi All,

We are also facing same issue, have updated /etc/sudoers file with the recommendations but still have similar issue - can some shed what should be the next step to look at.
