Perdataproc.log displays
"Outbound data DISABLED Mon, 16 Nov 2015 08:39:01 -0500"

The other two logs have a great deal of info in them.

Thanks.

ssax wrote:Do you see any relevant information in any of these files?

Code: Select all

/var/log/cron
/usr/local/nagiosxi/var/perfdataproc.log
/usr/local/nagios/var/npcd.log
/usr/local/nagios/var/perfdata.log
Can you attach those 4 files for us to take a look at?

You likely have too many files built up due to your high load. Run the following and post the output:

Code: Select all

ls -l /usr/local/nagios/var/spool/perfdata | wc -l
ls -l /usr/local/nagios/var/spool/xidpe | wc -l

Please attach these files for review:

Code: Select all

/usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg
/usr/local/nagios/etc/pnp/npcd.cfg
/usr/local/nagios/etc/pnp/process_perfdata.cfg
/usr/local/nagios/etc/pnp/rra.cfg
Thank you

Ahh, was wondering about that. To add a new wrench into the mix, Sean is out this week and while I have the ability to log in to his account and retrieve the files I would rather not do so :)

To ensure we all have access to the PM, please send it to our shared account: Nagios Support

That should future-proof anyone being out of the office.
