Can you please answer these questions?

1. How many CPUs do you have allocated to this machine?
2. Is it physical or virtual?

Are you running a ramdisk in your environment?

Judging by your load and memory it looks like you will need much more resources in order to speed things up. Creating reports takes time, and resources. If your resources are bottle-necked then generating the reports will take much longer.

4 CPU cores are allocated to this machie, 16GB RAM and it is a Virtual machine with Linux OS 6.3 Version.

Can you allot atleast 4 more CPU's to the machine? Have you noticed a performance increase since upping it to 16GB (it previously looks like you had 8GB).

4 cpus for 3811 hosts seems not enough. Can you post a screenshot of load and cpu utilisation of yr Nagios server of the last 30 days? I would suggest you add at least two cpus.

@raamardhani7 - let us know when you're able to allocate more CPU's to it and the result.

Hi rkennedy,

You can close this thread, will ask our client to add 2 more CPU cores and if still facing issues. Will start a new thread. Thanks.
