This is definitely not something we have ready, and as @eloyd said this would be consulting. We have individual documents that cover some of the topics you listed, such as backup/recovery, but we do not have every point addressed.

You will want to start by looking at the documentation provided in previous notes. Start with https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ation.html and look at how Nagios Core is built. Then you can look at the links in that document to find out about how plugins work. Then you can look at the Table of Contents and go to the requirements document to see what needs to be installed. Then you can go to the NRPE document and see how NRPE works and what ports it needs.

All of the information you require about Nagios is there. What is not there is sizing, scaling, and implementation specifics for how to put it in your specific environment.

The rest of the variables depend more on what you're trying to accomplish, and your specific environment. This is why it's a bit difficult to offer guidance.
