I'm guessing the above is the issue, there's probably a memory limit being hit somewhere, but I haven't nailed down what would cause that yet. Do you have any service checks that have a large number of performance data sets? Or even if you can grab the contents of the file that it's attempting to process (if it's still there), that might give some more clues...
