Hi,
Thanks for the reply, I dont have the option under the CCM for "View Text config" I get all alerts set up by a monitoring wizard through to the contact unstedj - the issue is that no alerts are being generated by these specific monitors :(

Core Configuration Manager->Contacts->View Text Config

If this is a "xi user" (not "contact only"), log in (or masquerade) as this user, click on the username in the upper right corner, then click on "Notification Preferences" and show a screenshot of this page.
Can you look again? You should have a "view text config" button that looks similar to a floppy disk. See this screenshot -

The "unstedj" contact seems to be properly defined. Can you verify that the "Receive alerts via email" check-box is selected under the "Notification Methods" for this user?

Can you show us the service definition of the failing "Check Webpoint Process" service?

Do the other members of the "xxx_Alerting_Group" contacgroup receive notifications about "Check Webpoint Process" service? Can you show us a screenshot of the "Notifications" report for the relevant timeperiod?
