I cannot tell if the version is 2009R1.2C or later (it also states Installed Version: 2009R1.2 when I click the check for updates link in blue).
Would you recommend I trust the VM clone we have taken as the backup step and move on to the resize instructions?

The exact version number is located on the bottom left of the Nagios XI interface

I think that's probably the best you can do at the moment. I would also suggest upgrading to the 2009R1.4b release as well so you at least have the latest features/fixes in the 2009 release.

I think that's probably the best you can do at the moment.
Done, thank you for the support and the issue is now resolved. We will upgrade later or just download the latest VM when required.
