Hello,

i have now the same problem like you with nagios version 4.2.2 and mk 1.2.8. I tried the command ./configure CPPFLAGS=-I/Nagios-Sources/nagios-4.2.3/include/ --with-nagios4 --prefix=/usr/local/nagios but the modul can not be loaded.
The nagios log only show the same...

[1482466351] Error: Could not load module '/usr/local/lib/mk-livestatus/livestatus.o' -> /usr/local/lib/mk-livestatus/livestatus.o: undefined symbol: external_command_buffer_slots
[1482466351] Error: Failed to load module '/usr/local/lib/mk-livestatus/livestatus.o'.
[1482466351] Error: Module loading failed. Aborting.


Can you help me please?

we don't support mk-livestatus, but I do notice you mention you are using 4.2.2, but your directory lists 4.2.3. Either way, the latest version is 4.2.4, and I would highly suggestion upgrading.
