Until this moment, it was unclear to me that you were talking about servers that did not exist yet. This makes sense now, since Fusion, as @rkennedy said, is driving all of this via PHP.

But that brings up a new feature idea I had while reading this; an API for Fusion that let's you add new machines without going through the GUI. Could be as simple as dropping a proper config file in the right directory or whatever like XI, but I think that would work here if it were available.

Nope, it's up to the developers at this point.

I asked the devs, and there will indeed be an API built into the new re-write of Fusion.
