if you mean nagios configuration check yes. i restarted httpd,snmpd,nagios services and rechecked but still the same.

All that checks gone fine!

In the terminal, try to su to the nagios user, and run the check again. See if it works.

i tried with both nagios users and still the same at the web interface :(

Did you type in su nagios and then try to run the plugin the same way you ran it? From the terminal of your Linux server running Nagios.

Exactly. I ran the check command from every user at my server but I still got the same output to the web interface!

The script executes perfectly from terminal from any user in my system but at the web interface of nagios i still get the same output

Sounds like you need to update the path in your environment variables so it can find the required perl library.

will it work because as i read this tutorial is about nagios xi. i got nagios core.


at the important_application i have to replace it with perl?

i dont have oracle installed. what about the second line i should add?
