Upgarding the nagios machine from nagios core to nagios xi

You would need to know HTML at the least, but the files should be located under /usr/local/nagios/share/.

Can we do montiroing group for server?

means that we will have only one line for server if it works or not and only whne i will enter on this line i will go to other page and there i will see all commpents of this server

i found that hostgroup.cfg can help me and to create groups for me.

but from some reson i can't find this file under /usr/local/nagios/etc

It may be in "objects" directory. Nagios Core and Nagios XI have different directory structure... You can read more about the directory structure in Nagios XI here:
