check_wmi_plus results differ from Nagios and command line

I just tried to get tricky and use back ticks in the the notify-by-email command (printf "IP: `host $HOSTNAME$`\n") but that fails somewhere as no email comes out. I may do what I've done in the past and make this command just pass all the macros I want as arguments to an external script where I can do all sorts of stuff like this.
