Hi,

I know this is late in the post but I finally upgraded my 2012 environment to the latest and took a backup. I am not trying to restore it to the new XI server but am facing this error.

[root@nagiosxi nagiosxi]# /usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/restore_xi.sh 1492709995.tar.gz

Earlier I advised you use the Migrate from Core method as you are coming from such an old system. Are you sure you wish to continue with this path? We can fix this particular issue, but then you'd still have all that other work ahead of you. If you do wish to continue with this path, please run:

# bash -x /usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/backup_xi.sh

Then send the full output.

everthing is migrated to the new system already. I just want the objects notes that are in the database.

I upgraded our original system to the latest XI version. too a backup of that then am trying to restore on the new system but getting that error.

I thought that is what was needed to get the object notes from the old now upgraded db.

Please run these commands and post the entire output:

ls -l
ls -l mysql
ls -l pgsql
