It's live, but not "public", by which I mean I can give you a direct link, but we aren't ready to put it on repo.nagios.com.

However, both the primary and secondary on this are out of the office today and I don't have the URL. I'm thinking I'll probably be able to get a link by EOD, but if not, just check back on Monday and everybody should be back in the office.

This request has been long outstanding, would it be possible to bump the priority on a public NCPA DEB repo?

I will apologize for the delay - when we first discussed doing this it was not terribly high on the priority list, and there were some other internal projects that made sense to complete before this was finished. As often is the case in IT, it then got put on the back-burner while fires were being fought, and was just not brought back to our attention until you posted today.

I spent half an hour or so this morning discussing and documenting with the team the steps we will need to take to get this done. We're actively working on it today, with the intention of having it done as soon as reasonably possible (pending any major outages, fires, etc. that need our immediate attention).

I will update this thread with more info at least once more today, either with "It's finished, here you go" or "Here is where we are and our ETA".

ETA 3PM Central today, but I'll update again once it is complete.

It's looking like Monday. We needed to do more testing than initially planned before pushing this out the door. Will continue to provide updates as they come.

Things to note:

• We cut new PGP keys for signing - the old ones were SHA-1 which in addition to being widely deprecated was causing issues with newer clients.
• The structure has been changed but backwards-compatibility should still be solid.

Please let us know if you run into any issues with the repo. We did our fair bit of testing internally (hence the delay) but we very well may have missed something.

I can ask the devs, but updated how specifically? Just the packages being replaced with the newly-signed ones, or something else? 2.13 is the latest version so it's up-to-date in that regard.

Under Linux, when selecting Debian from the drop-down menu it only displays DEB download as an option. Both RHEL and CentOS selections suggest "Install using Nagios repo - Recommended" with the RPM package as a secondary option. Debian should now recommend the Repo too, no?

If that isn't clear, simply visit the page and go through the various Linux selections to observe the actions.
