Acknowledgements and Scheduled Downtime not showing up in XI

Ran the mysqlcheck
stopped and restarted nagios and ndo2db
tried to schedule downtime:
"One or more scheduled commands could not be sent to Nagios Core."
tried to set a new acknowledgement:
Acknowledgements and Comments did not reflect a new entry

What's the output of sestatus? Also, please attach your /etc/sudoers. Has there been any other hardening on this server?

Info sent in PM.

Scheduled Downtimes and Acknowledgements were working in the recent past, no server reconfiguration other than Nagios XI upgrades in that window.

Something is odd, there is a missing file (profile.txt) from the profile you sent. Everything else was present though. That might point to something, just not sure what.

I did notice that in your /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/config.inc.php file you have $cfg['use_https']=false; set but you appear to be using SSL elsewhere - can you edit that file to say $cfg['use_https']=true; and try again? In addition, go to Admin -> System Settings in the web interface and make sure the Program URL uses https:// at the beginning.

Thanks for the help tmcdonald,

I changed these settings and restarted Nagios but still no ability to schedule downtime for a host.

Can you verify this, from the command line on your Nagios XI server, can localhost be found?
