No, it will not be in 2.0. That feature request is still in system, by which I mean it has not been denied. There has not been a version # attached to it yet.

one thing to consider, with ELK's currently development cycle, they plan to roll out a new version every year. on top of that, importing / migrating the data between 1->2, or 1->2->5 can be a pain. luckily, elastic did create some verification scripts to make sure all components are handled.

with the rapid release schedule (and legacy versions only "officially" supported for 1yr), it could get trickier down the road.
