I've listened to your advice and tried to install NagiosXI, due that its outdated and no use to use it for years to come.
@ npolovenko

This is the error I'm getting:

Code: Select all

ERROR 1067 (42000) at line 25: Invalid default value for 'event_time'
ERROR: Nagios XI database was not setup properly - exiting.
RESULT=1
The script that failed was: './B-installxi'

Im using mysql on that other server.

The Nagios XI install wants a clean install of Centos or RHEL and an empty MYSQL database to install and I am guessing that the old MYSQL database was left on the server causing the error.
Try dropping all of the MYSQL databases and try the fullinstall again.
If it fails, please post the install.log file so we can see the full output.

That is correct, I requested for company for new server on Centos and installation was peachy!

I only need to know the difference between trial and free version, what are the limitations for those and topic can get closed!

The free version only allows you to monitor 7 hosts MAX.
After the 60 day trial period, the system will switch over to the free version and only allow 7 hosts to be monitored.
