Core Configuration Manager Not Updating

I would try following the Importing_Config_Files_Into_XI which would include using a temp directory.

Including the Post-Import Actions.

Any other suggestions? We're trying to justify moving to XI but if we can't import our old config properly it's not worth it as it would take 10's of hours to readd it all manually..

You can import them suing the info in Importing_Config_Files_Into_XI

This will take your current config files and import them into the Nagios XI database.
