Sorry - meant to direct you to Admin > System Extensions > Manage Config Wizards. There you'll find the VMware wizard along with the version. I've attached the latest version here for you to test with if you don't already have it.

However when I try to add vcenter server instead of individual hosts, Nagios considers it as any other OS and doesnot pull out hosts, datastores, networks or other components of vCenter Server.
This is expected when "Monitor the VMWare host" option is selected in the wizard.
ESXi hosts, the memory utilization is not showing up. Is this a bug that memory utilization will not show up for ESXi hosts. The version we are using is 6.5 U1 Patch 2.
Is there an error showing up? Does the test function(edit the service under Configure > Core Config Manager > Monitoring > Services) return any results ? How about if you run it from the cli:

/usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_esx3.pl -H vcenter_ip -f /usr/local/nagiosxi/etc/components/vmware/vcenter_nagios_local_auth.txt -N ESXi_host -l MEM
