What does it show if you search for ID=1119?

Did you try putting this at the bottom of your /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/config.inc.php?
- Note: Put it above the DO NOT MODIFY LINE at the bottom like so

Can you try disabling the SSH backups for a night or two to see if that allows it to work for the local ones?

I have upgraded to 5.5.3 and waiting for the result.

Ok, if it doesn't work with both enabled, can you try it only one method enabled?
