Update to 5.5.5 dosen't change the problem
The configuration for service and escalation are the same than in my message "Mon Aug 27, 2018 12:30 pm"

@chrtap, Looks like you've got corrupted tables in the database. Please run the following command:
mysqlcheck -r -f -uroot -pnagiosxi --all-databases
Also, please stop the nagios service and remove the retention.dat file:
service nagios stop
rm /usr/local/nagios/var/retention.dat
service nagios start

Are you able to view State History now? The crashed tables when this original started likely were related to the missing notification.

Hi,
I made the
mysqlcheck suggested by
@npolovenko. But some services lost their acknowledgments, other services who had notifications disable became notification enable and even we lost some services (empty services for some hosts). So I have had to roll back (quickly) to the vm snapshot ! Do you have an idea to be able to make
mysqlcheck without receiving hundreds notifications and without losing services supervision ?
@ssax, the problem is not "only" in the history. We don’t receive the notifications configured in the service and in level 1 escalation, we received directly the level 2 notifications (SMS).
Thanks for your help

Let's move this into a ticket so that we can get a remote session setup. Please create a new ticket below and include a link to this forum topic and we'll get one set up.
