Is nagios showing NPCD as "running" now in the GUI?

[nagios@root ~]$ ls -l /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/subsys/npcd.pid
-rw------- 1 root root 5 Oct 31 17:42 /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/subsys/npcd.pid
Changing the permissions of this file to 644 fixed the issue for me.
