so there is no official support for Postgres DB at the moment correct ?

@madhukarneelaiahgari, Only for the nagiosxi database on the very old versions of XI. If you manually convert to Postgres it will not be supported.
As of May 25th, 2018, all communications with Nagios Enterprises and its employees are covered under our new Privacy Policy.

I've one more question , if we migrate all of our servers/services to passive checks will that increase the performance of the XI server ?

Passive checks are not initiated from the Nagios XI server, so switching to all passive checks will reduce the load on the server, and therefore increase performance. Each system is different though, and there are many factors that can impact performance (in addition to the type of checks, e.g. active vs passive). I would recommend utilizing a ram disk if you haven't done this already. Here's a few boosting performance steps that you can look into:

Note: You setup is quite large already. If you are planning on adding more checks to the system, you would probably need to look into adding a second Nagios XI server.
