Are you using custom local repos? There packages are provided by the base repo... Do you have the optional channel added? What is the output of the following command?

I don't see the RHEL 7 Server RPMs and the optional channel in the output. You should see something like this in the output:

It seems like you have a RPM install... In this case, you need to run:

How to confirm if the target is RPM install?

I executed the suggested commands but does NOT seem to be working.

How to confirm if the target is RPM install?
Run the following command from the command line:

On a source install, you should see the nagiosxi-deps package in the output, e.g.

On a RPM install, you should see the nagiosxi package, e.g.
