Nope, shouldn't have an effect on any other Perl scripts. The embedded Perl processor is an efficiency mechanism, turning it off will increase execution times slightly but should also increase the reliability of scripts executing correctly.

Haven't given this a try yet, but hope to today...will let you know if it works. Thanks.
