One more follow up question...
For the nagios password, you said it just has to be non-expiring. Does the non-expiring password need to be something specific or does that not matter? We're wondering if when the nagios local account is created after the Nagios XI install if there is a default password set and then we need to change it and how we would do that?

There is no default password when the nagios user account is created and it needs to be non-expiring to avoid any disruptions. I discussed this with the other members of the support team, and it's not recommended to set a password on this account as it may cause issues.
