Re: I accidentally combined NRPE source and package

FOUND IT!!!!!! Ok, when I tried doing agriffins command:
su nagios -s /bin/bash -c "/usr/local/nagios/libexec/plugin_name opts"
nothing happened. I just tried to su to the nagios user and nothing happened. I could su to other users but not Nagios. I tried to remove Nagios and the system said he was logged in. I logged out and logged back in and he was STILL logged in. SO, I rebooted the server, tried to remove him again and this time he was gone. I reinstalled the plugins and nrpe and now here's what I'm seeing from the Nagios server:
[root@link libexec]# ./check_nrpe -H 192.168.2.83 -c check_users
USERS OK - 1 users currently logged in |users=1;5;10;0
[root@link libexec]#
SO, I'd like to offer a great big thank you to everyone who offered up help in this problem. I appreciate it! Oh, and don't go far because I'm still not finished getting things configured.
Thanks,
Joe B
