All right. Below is my understanding , let me know if i got it right ?
1. We upload and process MIBs so that Traps show up on the SNMP Trap Interface = where we update the Severity of interested Traps
2. Create Passive Service ( SNMP Traps ) either MANUALLY or from unconfigured objects ?
And we should be able to consume these Traps over API ?

1. Yes, that is what you would need to do to get the Trap OID's setup so they will be received by the server and to set the Severity levels.
2. I would configure the received Traps from the Unconfigured Objects menu. Doing it manually, the Host name has to match exactly as what is received in the Trap before it will be received.
An example is if the device that is sending the traps is not setup in DNS, the trap will use the IP address for the hostname and if you manually used an actual hostname to setup the host, it will not be received and you would have to go to the Unconfigured Objects anyways.
Once a Trap is setup and received and it shows the status in the Service Status menu, it will be available in the API to get the status.

Amazing

. This helps . And we can make all the changes on SNMP Interface ( updating Severity or Disable Unwanted Traps etc ).
For this new devices which is not sending any traps yet ( meaning not showing on the Unconfigured Objects ) , do you have any instructions on how to create the same Passive Service ?

If the device has not been setup to send traps, you will have to configure it to do so.
Also, for the Traps to be translated, you will have to get the MIB file from the manufacturer and upload it to the XI server so the traps will be defined.
Typically, doing this will setup the trap definitions for you so you do not have to manually create them, that is if you get the MIB file for the Traps the device sends.
If the device is already setup to send the traps and if the MIB file is not loaded, the traps will show up in the /var/log/snmptt/snmpttunknown.log file.
Or in the XI interface SNMP Trap Interface menu, click on the Advanced TAB and the Show Unknown Trap Log button.
If they show up there, then a MIB file has to be uploaded to the XI server.
