Re: migrating from oel6 to centos 7.8
Hi
our nagios is in isolated LAN. so support session is not possibie.do you believe in that ticket is still necessary?
i observed that our /usr/local/nagios/var/spool/perfdata is empty. in the previous el6 environment, this directory was being written and later emptied
i also checked rrd files directory (/usr/local/nagios/share/perfdata).these files are not being written on! they are still in the migration date and time
can you direct me with possible causes and actions?
one thing comes to my mind. in el6 machine, our nagios directory was relocated /data/nagios. after migration to el7. i have moved this directory to again /usr/local/nagios. but some of these directories and plugins are created by restore_repair.sh script. i have moved only the ones which are not created by restore_repair.sh script. one of them which i did not moved was process_perfdata.pl. i see that these 2 are different. does this make any difference?
i have checked npcd, rrdcached, crond, nagios processes are all OK.
thanks..

Hi,

Thanks.
Nagios Support Team
Given that this a secure installation, I highly recommend moving this over to ticket since the data exchanged is private between you and the support technician. Please open a support ticket at the following link and provide a current system profile.our nagios is in isolated LAN. so support session is not possibie.do you believe in that ticket is still necessary?
