Hi John,
The nagios.log file does not have enough information in it as the nagios process was not restarted so the data is not in it.

Please restart nagios and wait for 20-30 minutes and then get a new copy of the nagios.log and upload it.

You are also running Mod Gearman on the server. Please verify that is it running and processing checks in a timely manner. If that is delaying the checks, that would cause the delay as well.

I just PM'd you the nagios.log from yesterday. We ran into a problem in the morning and I had to restart Nagios and Gearman services a number of time yesterday.

I looked at the log and noticed you have lots of connection issues.

I thought the issue you were having since the NDO3 installed was the 1970-01-01 date.

Are you still having the "1970-01-1" date issue?

That problem now seems to have gone away. I'm not sure if yesterday's issue/resolution were associated with the delays we were getting in the Nagios XI WebUI when adding new hosts (after we updated NDO). I can open another topic if we wish to pursue the root cause of yesterday's connection issues.

That NDO3 upgrade he had you do likely resolved the issue as that 1970 stuff was directly related to a bug in the new NDO3.

Just to confirm, are you saying there is a bug in the new version of NDO3 that I installed?

There was a bug in the version of NDO3 that came with XI 5.7.5, he had you install a later version of NDO3 that fixed it (it came from XI 5.8).
