Are you connected over HTTPS when you generate the report, or over HTTP?

One more thing you can do to help diagnose this:
1. run this command as root:
Code: Select all
touch /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/wkhtmltox.log
chmod 0777 /usr/local/nagiosxi/var/wkhtmltox.log
2. Run the SLA report PDF
3. Paste the contents of
/usr/local/nagiosxi/var/wkhtmltox.log here.

No error messages output. That's very strange.
In order to escalate this issue and take a deeper dive into what's causing this, I'd suggest you
create a ticket so we can hopefully get this resolved ASAP.
Nagios XI 5.8.2
was released today and it specifically includes some fixes to PDF generation, so maybe updating to the latest version may fix your issues. It may be a day until the packages are available in the repos, but it'll be soon.

I have upgraded our NagiosXI to 5.8.2 today but no luck.
