Hi,

Currently pm.max_requests is set as 500, can we reduce that to 50 ? also it is a production system. Does it make any problem if I make the changes ?

Preethu

I have done it on multiple systems, you shouldn't see any issues, you can increase it to 100 if you'd like.

Hi,

From the attached file, I see we need to restart couple of service httpd php-fpm
Can you also please confirm if this will cause any downtime in accessing or with any functionality in nagios. If yes, can I know how much downtime will be required please.

Regards,
Preethu

It will briefly interrupt the web interface while it tries to gracefully allow the current requests to complete, how long that takes will be unique to the moment you run the command but it roughly can take anywhere from a couple of seconds to a minute on average barring any unforseen issues like hung processes.
