Hi mcombs77,

Thank you for sending over the archive and nice work on the SSL cert issue; glad you were able to resolve that. We're going to continue to look at the utime messages which appear not to be a factor in the problem you were observing. So there are two parts to the backup/restore process: the database backup and the file backup. In the error message you presented previously the restoration of the files was successful but the db restoration was failing due to the SSL issue. The working configuration used is defined by the database and the files are there to capture some atypical configs and so they could be imported if there was a problem with the database through the "Import Config Files" link on the left frame of the Core Configuration Manager. Could you take a look and see if the database backup exists and if it does could you send it to me via PM ?

Code: Select all

  ls -laF /usr/local/nagiosxi/nom/checkpoints/nagiosxi/1638822320_nagiosql.sql.gz

Thanks and Best Regards,
Keith

I have the issue repaired. I replaced the cert used by my MariaDB server with one issued by a trusted internal CA. I then deleted the config files and wrote them using the config file management tool. The nightly built-in Nagios backups are succeeding and the restore configuration snapshot is performing as expected.
