In addition, if you're going to be changing mysql/mariadb configuration regarding indexes, you wouldn't be remiss in backing up the mysql database with mysqldump: https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/8.0/en ... ldump.html or mariadbdump: https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mysqldump/ as appropriate to your version of Nagios XI
