We are awaiting your reply, can you please respond as this is on priority

Also one more thing, when we change the password to anything (wrong password) still we get the service information as "Null".
Is there a way to check it manually from Nagios Server to validate the plugin/wizard?

It looks like that should be ok, can you log into the Oracle DB command line and run

Code: Select all

SQL> show parameter local_listener
SQL> show parameter service_names
And also what is the name of the service and or listener you added for Nagios?

The services are- Connected Users, Connection Time, Tablespace Usage.
Uptime and Ping are just working fine.

In the tnsnames and listener.ora file, what is the name of the Nagios service?

There is no Nagios service name in those files. Are there any entries to be made manually?
