I believe it was most likely the change in version as there were many improvements in 2012R1.4, and while you did reduce the services, you didn't reduce the hosts at all, and the hypermap is displaying the hosts...

Hi Scott,
I think you may close this, I'm now on Version 12012 R1.6 and ... it still works.
