Hi abrist,

The password entry in the configuration file, or from the command line, is the JID password (e.g. username Nagibot with password "-p ..."). I'm wondering about a password to the actual conference room (don't want just anybody to see).
I can probably get around this by adding Nagibot as a conference admin - should remove the need for a password to join.

I have Openfire installed on different machines to the Nagios installs so haven't tried localhost. I'll try snapshotting the VM and checking if it works with localhost, it's only a test machine so is no problem.

Either way, should be setting this up on production machine soon. The install steps should work on XI right? If it works on core.

Thank you.

Kind Regards,

Gary Shergill

The install process should work just fine, although you may need to do some steps the "XI" way. For example, use the XI "commands" page in the CCM to add your commands, etc. XI at it's core, is still Nagios core. So functionality of this plugin should not change between the two if it works with core.

Hi abrist,

Thanks, that's great!

I've had some issues in the past with some XI plugins not working in Core, but it's true that if it works on core it works on XI (well so far at least :D).

Yeah, some XI plugins are xi specific, requiring either binaries/scripts that only ship with XI, XI wizards (which do not work with core), or XI specific commands that do not exist or work in core. But when it comes to core specific plugins, I have yet to find one that does not work with XI.

Best of luck with your future endeavors!
