Hi abrist,
The password entry in the configuration file, or from the command line, is the JID password (e.g. username Nagibot with password "-p ..."). I'm wondering about a password to the actual conference room (don't want just anybody to see).
I can probably get around this by adding Nagibot as a conference admin - should remove the need for a password to join.
I have Openfire installed on different machines to the Nagios installs so haven't tried localhost. I'll try snapshotting the VM and checking if it works with localhost, it's only a test machine so is no problem.
Either way, should be setting this up on production machine soon. The install steps should work on XI right? If it works on core.
