Mike,
One of the things I LOVE about Nagios XI is that it is available as a virtual appliance. You can simply download the virtual appliance, deploy it into your virtual environment and within about 10 minutes you have a fully functional monitoring product. There is no need to go through any installation process, it just works.
However I do understand that you may want to deploy Nagios XI on a physical server, perhaps virtualisation is not something that exists in your environment, maybe using RHEL is your preffered OS choice instead of CentOS that comes in the virtual appliance. There are many reasons that affect your decisions on how to deploy Nagios XI in your environment.

Mike,
Your trial has expired.
Auto-Discovery will not work on an expired trial.

Well, enough of that... I've removed everything and started over. Installing a fresh clean install of RHEL 5.8 again and starting all over.

If you have problems, post the install.log.

Were there any other errors earlier in the log? Can we get a listing that failed directory:

Thanks for everyone's helps. I've got most of it working, however there where a couple of config files missing that httpd was calling. So, for testing purposes everything works fine.
Thanks again
Mike

Ah great! That was a strange one, something must have happened during installation.
