Thanks, I already downloaded one of those and have been playing around with it, it's the Check Liebert NXR-UPS (30kVA) plugin. At least it tries to run from the command line, but I'm not sure what it's asking for regarding Module.

I'll keep playing around with it and try some of the others. Biggest problem I've got though is I know more about Linux than I do SNMP. Talk about scary!!!!

Let us know if you get stuck with the Liebert_NXR_UPS.py plugin.

Actually I'm making some progress with one of the plugins in the link Box 293 posted, check_ups_alarm.pl. It runs, but I've got to tweak the config on the UPS side to get data back.

Also, I'd like to extend my thanks and appreciation for the great support I've received from everyone on this forum. I really do appreciate it.

Well this is strange.

The UPS plugin is not showing up in "Commands" on Nagios. It's in /usr/local/nagios/libexec and I can run it from the command line, but when I try to create the new service, it doesn't show up in the list of available commands.

What did I miss on this one?

This is likely because you have not added a command for it, to do so, navigate to CCM > Commands > look at check_nrpe as an example, and use the same syntax, but be sure to use $ARGn$'s so you can use it with different thresholds on different systems. http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... lugins.pdf
