I don't have access to Vcenter, so i think i will unable to use this method. so i am trying to configure vsphere perl sdk steps. But for here i am facing problem while installing
(perl-Nagios-Plugin-0.35-1.el6.noarch.rpm) this package its giving the below error

The box293_check_vmware plugin does not require vCenter, it can connect directly to ESXi hosts and the steps are clearly outlined in the manual.

Ok and i have one more query. The vmware appliance is opensource ? or i have to register to download the software ?

The VMware Appliance is a free download from VMware and there is no cost to use it. It's a management appliance VMware provide for free.

Thanks for your reply. I am trying to deploy a vma appliance and while installaing we have to configure (datastore , available space). so in available space by default it took the free space, so here we have
to change anything? or in the same way we have click next ?

I'm a little confused, can you provide screenshots? It's just a standard VM.

I have attached the screenshot. In that it showed in available space (921.4GB) that is free space in the datastore. So here can i proceed as it is ? or i have to change anything.

I am confussed if i proceed as it is it will took the datastore space. so could you assist me.

The VM needs to live on a datastore, just like any other VM in your environment. With thin provisioning the VM will only consume like 1GB of disk space.
