Ok so I got it working but this happened when it was done:
update broken2.png
How to make that update check not fail?

Also, not sure if it's just me but the update absolutely hosed my home dashboard since everything somehow got re-sized to massive.

Both of these issues are known bugs. We are planning a bugfix release for latter this week as far as I know.
