H-m-m, I tested this in Nagios XI 5.2.5, however the "Nagios BPI" component version I am using is also 2.4.4...
Are you logged in as nagiosadmin or another user? Did you add an "authorized user" to this group? Is this user authorized to see both services, members of this BPI group?
Click on the "Edit BPI Settings" under the "Business Process Intelligence" page, select the "Show All Groups To All Users" check-box, and click on "Apply Settings". Is the group status shown correctly now?

I am logged in as nagiosadmin, I've somehow got a group in authorized users, not sure how it got there, can't see how to add/remove anything there.
I selected the Show All Groups To All Users, but can't see where that changed anything.
What's weird is that even if I set one member as Essential, the groups still says OK!

This is completely wrong... The BPI group's status should be critical even if only the "essential" member is in a critical state... I believe we need to move this to our email ticketing system, and schedule a remote. Email us at
[email protected]. Type "Interesting Situation..." in the email's subject field, and provide a URL link to this post in the email's body. Thank you!
